Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MommyRon ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use MommyRon on iOS devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

3. Medical Disclaimer

MommyRon is designed as a personal record-keeping tool for people who express breast milk. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

• Expiry recommendations (e.g., 4 days fridge, 6 months freezer) are drawn from public guidelines published by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They are informational only and may not apply to your specific circumstances.
• Pump interval and supply management decisions should be made in consultation with a qualified healthcare professional or IBCLC.
• Do not rely on MommyRon's reminders or alarms for medically critical events. While we have designed the wake-alarm feature to be as reliable as possible, iOS device state, battery, Focus settings, and Apple system behavior can affect delivery.

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information displayed in the app.

4. Your Data

MommyRon stores all data locally on your device. We do not receive, store, or access your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for backing up your data.Use the export feature (Settings › Export Sessions to CSV / PDF) to save a copy of your records. We are not liable for data loss resulting from device failure, loss, theft, iOS upgrades, or app deletion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by applicable law.
• Use the app in violation of any law or regulation.
• Attempt to interfere with the intended functioning of the app or the security of your device.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by Medianeth and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Third-Party Services

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and relies on iOS system services (notifications, AlarmKit, SwiftData). Your use of those services is governed by Apple's own terms. We are not responsible for changes in Apple's systems that affect app functionality.

8. Updates and Changes to the App

We may release updates to add, change, or remove features. Some updates may require a minimum iOS version. We are not obligated to maintain backward compatibility with older iOS releases.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

MOMMYRON IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MEDIANETH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, MILK SUPPLY, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Medianeth harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the app or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the app. You may terminate them at any time by uninstalling the app. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Makati City, Philippines, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
