Frequently Asked Questions
Does MommyRon store my data on a server?
No. MommyRon is a local-first app. Your pump sessions, stash inventory, and settings live only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no network calls.
Why didn't my pump alarm go off?
A few things to check:
- Alarm Mode is enabled in Settings inside the app.
- Notifications permission is granted to MommyRon (iOS Settings › Notifications › MommyRon).
- On iOS 26+, AlarmKit is authorized — this lets alarms bypass Silent mode and Do Not Disturb.
- If you use Focus modes, confirm MommyRon is allowed to break through, or enable Critical Alerts if Apple has granted them to your device.
How do I export my pump sessions?
Open Settings inside the app and choose Export. MommyRon can export your sessions as CSV (for spreadsheets) or PDF (for sharing with a lactation consultant or healthcare provider).
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings › Data › Clear All Data inside the app. Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored data from your device.
I'm having trouble with the stash manager or expiry alerts.
Stash items use the expiry window you set in Settings (fridge and freezer limits). Expiry is calculated when you add an item and never recalculated. If alerts aren't firing, confirm Notifications are enabled for MommyRon and that the stash item is still in the stored state.
Will MommyRon ever add cloud sync or accounts?
No. Local-first is a core design principle. If you want a copy of your data on another device, you can use Apple's encrypted device backup, or export CSV/PDF and share it yourself.
